About the Artist: After studying at the Academia di Belle Arti (Academy of the Fine Arts) in Naples under the direction of Domenico Morelli, Loria dedicated himself to oil and watercolor painting with a focus on Italian genre scene and landscape subject matter. Loria’s paintings became highly prized and sought after not only by the Italian upper-class but also by foreign collectors. His works have been exhibited both in Italy, including museums in Turin, Milan, Venice and Naples, and other museums and galleries worldwide (Russia, London).
