Maurice Garnier confirmed the authenticity of this painting. Gold and brown painted wooden frame. Very good condition. Provenance: Galerie Maurice Garnier, Paris; Carel Gallery, Miami Beach; Private Collection, Canada; Private Collection, United Kingdom. Manor in Bernard Buffet’s signature style of painting black, straight lines indicating a symbolic stance against the obscurity of abstraction. He stayed true to his intention to provide clarity and stability in the state of ambiguity after the war period. Condition: The painting is in very good condition with minimal framing marks at the edges.
