About the Artist: Iva Prince was born on a farm in Sevier County, Tennessee. She was inspired very early by the beauty of nature and has used that passion ever since to create art. Ms. Prince has no formal training, but instead creates her art from what she feels and sees. A truly talented outsider artist much of her work is by memory of her childhood. She lives in Cosby, Tennessee on a “few acres of paradise”, and spend mush of her time in her studio painting. Classification: Folk Art, Outsider Art, Southern Art.
