Thomas Blinks Hand-Tinted Photogravure “Stolen Away”
Late 19th century hand-tinted photogravure of a painting titled Stolen Away by listed English sporting artist Thomas Blinks (1860 – 1912), painted in 1891. The image depicts a hunt with hounds to the front and a large group of men on horse back with bright red coats. It is signed and dated in plate to the lower right and titled to the lower margin.
